Fiber-optic

Fiber-optic lines are strands of optically pure glass, as thin as a human hair that carries digital information over long distances. Think about how the Internet is used in your business. It has evolved to be the main source of research and data. The Internet experience includes increased interactivity, rich media, and downloading of videos and images. The movement of files across the World Wide Web requires better connections, since the files keep getting bigger and bigger. The only system that can accommodate this spectacular growth without a glitch is FTTP, or fiber-to-the-premises. It provides for far faster connection speeds and carrying capacity than any other cable or conductor. Fiber has a virtually unlimited bandwidth coupled with a long reach, making it "future safe," or a standard medium that will be in place for a long time to come. This is AeroNet’s choice for continued service and support.

Your building doesn’t have fiber optic infrastructure? No problem! With AeroNet’s Partnership Agreement* we can provide it for free. Just read on.

*Only for commercial or residential multi-tenant buildings

Our Network

We use Fixed Microwave technology as our last mile delivery transport. AeroNet’s Backbone is based on a Mesh of Microwave Backhaul links and Fiber Links. All our services are delivered via an Ethernet Interface backed by a core IP and MPLS Network for full diversity on customer options.

GePON Technology

A PON (Passive Optical Network) is a form of fiber-optic access network. It consists of an optical line terminal (OLT) and a number of optical network units (ONUs) near end users. Ours is a point-to-multipoint, fiber to the premises network architecture, where unpowered optical splitters are used to enable a single optical fiber to serve multiple premises. A PON configuration reduces the amount of fiber and central office equipment required.

The Partnership

In those cases where the fiber optic installation is required, AeroNet offers a unique business model we call The Partnership Agreement*. Without added cost, we provide the building with access for fiber infrastructure installation and maintenance, and rooftop access for microwave equipment. We also offer a one-year technology and product exclusivity, and promotional campaign cooperation.

This allows the building representative to integrate the latest technology to their building facilities, provide a cost-effective Internet solution to their tenants, add value to prospect tenants, and rest assured they have a future-proof infrastructure that will last for the next 50 years or more.
